We are seeking an Information Technologist I – Information Management Officer (IMO) to work on site as part of a team to provide Information Management Officer (IMO) support for Microsoft desktop and laptop environments and associated network systems for a large organization on Fort Sill. This role will be responsible for performing this effort on site reporting directly to Army customer and local Program Manager.

Responsibilities:
The candidate will provide administration, maintenance, and technical support for Microsoft Windows desktops and laptops in an Army enterprise environment. Support includes installation, configuration, troubleshooting, and lifecycle management of hardware and software while maintaining compliance with Army configuration, cybersecurity, and information assurance standards. The candidate will manage Microsoft Intune client accounts and devices, perform PC imaging and system configuration, maintain operating systems, service packs, patches, and authorized COTS/GOTS applications, and resolve email and desktop application issues.

The candidate will provide Tier I support via phone, in person, and remote access to end users via phone, remote access, and on-site visits, including classroom audiovisual systems, Microsoft Teams conferencing, and network connectivity. Responsibilities also include registering and tracking client equipment, documenting hardware and software changes, maintaining SOPs and continuity documentation, preparing configuration change requests, and clearly communicating technical information to technical and non-technical personnel and participating in meetings as a technical representative

Required Experience
  • Associate’s degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, or a technically related field; OR Three (3) years of technically related experience in desktop support or network administration.
  • Must obtain and maintain a Secret Clearance
  • Must obtain and maintain Computing Environment (CE) training for supported operating systems and security tools throughout contract performance
  • Minimum of two (2) years client support in a Microsoft Windows environment
  • Experience with Windows 11 and Microsoft 365
  • Experience providing client support in Microsoft Intune-managed environments using Microsoft 365 applications (Outlook, OneDrive, Word, PowerPoint, Excel, OneNote, SharePoint, Teams, Viva Engage, Access)
  • Strong troubleshooting experience for desktop hardware, software, and user issues
  • Knowledge of PC imaging, connectivity, remote printer setup, and automated email system troubleshooting
  • Ability to diagnose and resolve hardware/software problems remotely
  • Experience implementing system security, managing passwords, user/group accounts, and file permissions
  • Understanding of LAN/WAN/Internet connectivity issues and advanced TCP/IP networking
  • Experience implementing system security, managing passwords, user/group accounts, and file permissions
  • Experience creating/updating documentation for conventional technical processes (Continuity Books)
  • Assist System Administrators with installing/testing of system software or network hardware configurations and coordinating the documentation of all client hardware and software changes, to include generating and modifying procedures for the Standard Operating Procedure (SOP)/User’s Guide
  • Ability to clearly and concisely communicate technical information to non-technical users
Preferred Experience
  • Experience operating and support video teleconferencing equipment
  • Experience managing IT desktop equipment on Army networks with direct interface with the Network Enterprise Center (NEC). 
Education / Certifications
  • REQUIRED: Candidate must obtain and maintain required Computing Environment (CE) certifications Information Assurance Technical (IAT) Level II per DoD 8570.01-M - CompTIA Security+ Certification or Equivalent

  • Candidate must be able to travel as required
